1) letter; 2) ?
Cartonnage. Two fragments in PMMA (Plexiglas); they may or may not be related. Fr. 1 mentions destruction?, something or someone new not working, and something someone said, it is probably a letter. The second fragment is dated to (ἔτους κε), probably either 261/260 or 223/222 BCE, but contains little other than the date; the hand is more fluid than that in fragment 1 with a long cross bar on the epsilon. Fr. 1: left, top and bottom margins intact, front, 9 lines written against the fibres; back, covered with paint/gesso; fr. 2: no margins?, front, 3 lines written along the fibres; back, no visible writing, some paint.
